Have you ever listened to music that made you remember a time and place? Dire Straits music is that for me. Mark Knopfler, David Knopfler, Pick Withers and John Ilsley: these are the type of artists that can transport you.

Attempting the music of Dire Straits is no mean feat; Members of this band have been in the music business since 1978.

Forest Parker holding down the low end has been a fixture of Texas music. Playing with national touring acts, he has backed some of the biggest names in secular and contemporary christian music.

Attempting the nuance of Mark Knopfler is no easy task!  Andy Pearce is reverent to the style and material of a master composer while still maintaining the integrity of his craft. Andy has been in and around the music business since 1978. Growing up in south Louisiana he is a virtual "gumbo" of musical influences. Introduced to B.B. King and Bobby "Blue" Bland at the 1974 New Orleans Jazz/Heritage festival, he was instantly struck with this music! Andy has shared the stage with The Atlanta Rhythm Section, Randy Floyd, Mark David Manders, Amy Grant, Susan Grey, Lloyd Manes, Lannie Flowers, Susan Hickman, Gwen Hughes, Andy Timmons, and Buddy Whittington. He has recorded with: Greg Westfall, the Calamity Janes, Will Ray, Stevie Gurr, Louis Conti, and Louisiana's LeRoux. Rounding out the band is Keyboardist/ Pianist/ Arranger:

Andrew Marton, a fixture of the Dallas Music scene with years of experience. Playing with Pooch Amy and Greg Westfall, among numerous others his performance is not to be missed.

Dave Lucas, a California native brings his years of experience in dramatic the stage. Having worked with David Gateley as one of the top acoustic duos in the SF Bay Area and The Gavenn Ross Band in San Jose, Dave has opened for the Marshall Tucker Band, Kathy Mattea among others. His high spirited performance of David Knopfler's rhythm guitar parts is executed flawlessly.

On drums and Percussion is Steve Byas. Steve has played with bands in Fort Worth going back to the 1980s with "Revisto" whom you may remember.  Steve brings attention to detail and presicion to the arrangements. Also featured is

Karlan Armstrong, a graduate of Berkley School of music has played with some of the greatest souther rock artists of our time. He was tapped to arrange some songs for Louisiana's LeRoux. You may have seen him around DFW when he played locally with the "Toto" tribute where he handled the Jeff Porcarro Drum Chair.
